A closet of undersized stuff and a cupboard of forgotten testimonies.

The way children grow! We don’t even know how it happens. All we know is that hours turn into days, days into weeks, weeks into months and months into years.

We take note of the milestones. Their first word, their first step, their first tooth, their first birthday…

And clothes?! Gosh, we have a closet full of undersized stuff. We either give them away or keep them for the next baby…

Life happens. We move on. We forget…

Do you remember the clothes you wore at age five?
Where is that special shoe you had five years ago?
Life happens. We move on. We forget…

You didn’t get a promotion.
You don’t have a fancy car.
You don’t have a king-size bed.
but you forget…

Once upon a time,
you prayed to have a job.
you prayed for “anything at all”.
you prayed for a roof over your head.
It’s easy to forget…

Do you still remember the testimonies you shared last year?
Life happens. We move on. We forget…

…and those things we once prayed fervently for become normal.
The things we were once excited about become stale.
We move on to the next big thing and do away with the ‘undersized’ stuff.
Life happens. We move on. We forget…

We forget that, once upon time, those ‘undersized’ stuff were our biggest testimonies!

Look back at the things you had, look around at the things you have. You will definitely find something to be thankful for.
